Franki’s Pizzeria believes in the power of family, hard work, and delicious food. For over two decades, owner Frank Franze has been up at the crack of dawn, wearing his apron and ball cap, ready to serve Thunder Bay’s best traditional pizzas, panzerotti, and wings.

Frank’s journey began at 13, clearing tables at Giulio’s fine dining restaurant, and evolved into a passion for quality food and exceptional service. After a stint in London, Ontario, Frank returned home to Thunder Bay, driven by his love for family and community. Inspired by his mother Viola’s cooking, he opened Franki’s Pizzeria on January 24, 2002.

With nearly a dozen dedicated employees, Franki’s Pizzeria is open 7 days a week, ensuring every bite is crafted with care. Frank’s father, Peter, starts every day around 3am to make the dough fresh and from scratch. Frank oversees operations, greets customers, and helps prepare orders.

Despite the long hours, Frank cherishes time with his spouse and two children. Committed to giving back, Franki’s Pizzeria supports local charities, including the local chapter of Autism Ontario, the Parade of Lights, Our Kids Count, and Isthmus Thunder Bay which provides food for schoolchildren. Franki’s Pizzeria also caters several schools in Thunder Bay, something the students look forward to every week.
